Manila Beer Tour
Rock on Manila Beer Tour hits Lucena hard!
December 3, 2010, It was already crowded at the venue when my friends and I got there it was only almost 8 in the evening but a lot of people were lining up to enter the gates.
Even in the drizzling rain the people keep coming to witness this free concert brought by Manila Beer “Ito ang wala sabit”, and I can say that it was a success because the concert showcased the hottest bands in the country to date, Typecast, Franco, Imago, Gloc9, and Parokya ni Edgar just to name a few. Manila Beer has been hitting a lot of Major cities from Gensan to Baguio City and they’ve hit it hard on and that night’s concert is not the end of the concert series at all so you guys must definitely watch out for which city they’ll be hitting from here on.
The MNL beer experienced
Overflowing beer, hell yeah! That night was a blast for everyone. The never ending moshing at the pit, arms raised up in the air, peace sign everywhere and the rain never stop, but the crowd never runs out of energy, man, that was one hell of a night.
The Love Radio-Lucena disc jocks hosted that night’s concert from games to introducing the bands who are going to play and most importantly entertaining the crowd while the bands’ sets up to play.
First to perform that night was Typecast which pumped up the crowd real good.
Next up Franco with Niño Avenido of Greyhoundz as the bassist for that night because Buwi Meneses was at the Survivor Finale. Gab Alipe and JanJan Mendoza were also not at the Lucena leg ‘cause of conflict in schedules.
Then Imago played and the crowd was put in awe because of Aia’s irresistible charm, not forgetting that she have a beautiful voice and the crowd just sang along with her with one of their song.
The crowd went crazy when Gloc9 the fastest rapper in the land went on the stage and gave the people an intense performance.
Parokya ni Edgar were the last band to perform that night and as soon as they got on stage the crowd went even more crazier and berserk good thing no one was hurt pretty bad but there were cases of fist fights but the police got the situation under control so the concert didn’t stop.
PNE didn’t fail the crowd; the band gave an awesome performance of their old and new songs, man! It was tight. The two frontman never fails to make us laugh with their insane antics on stage.
It was definitely one Yes Yes Show to remember.
All in all hands down to the people of Manila Beer. Cheers!
